Amberlee understands that her clients bring with them their own history of food and health experiences. Nutrition information is everywhere, and it is sometimes hard to tell where to start. Amberlee helps her clients to find a clear path to a healthier lifestyle.
Throughout Amberlee’s life, she has had her own personal struggles with weight management and general digestive distress. As a young child, Amberlee sought the advice of a Dietitian for nutrition help. Amberlee and her mom left the appointment with the Canada’s Food Guide, and ‘Eat Less, Move More’ mantra. They felt no further ahead, and were even more confused then before.
Flash forward to today, as a Dietitian this personal experience helps her to understand where her clients are coming from. Amberlee wants her clients to know there are no silly questions! She tailors her nutrition recommendations so they are realistic and fit with her client’s lifestyle, work life, and family life. No unrealistic diets! Amberlee believes all foods fit, and that everyone should continue to live within the 80/20 rule for life!
Amberlee is also passionate about digestive health and has a special interest in healing the gut and gut disorders.
