Eating disorders: Parents and Caregivers Education & Support Group

First and foremost, we want you to know that you’re not alone. It can feel isolating and overwhelming to care for someone with an eating disorder. However, we’re here to provide you with the support you need. Our virtual support group offers a confidential and safe space for parents and caregivers to share their experiences, receive support, and connect with others who understand what they’re going through.

Our group is facilitated by experienced professionals who specialize in eating disorders and can provide guidance and advice. They understand the unique challenges you’re facing and can offer insight and strategies for managing your loved one’s eating disorder. You’ll have the opportunity to gain new insights into the condition, learn new strategies for supporting your loved one’s recovery, and connect with others who are going through similar experiences.

About the support group

Facilitated by Registered Dietitian Susan Watson (she/her), this online support group will provide guidance to parents and caregivers of their loved one living with an eating disorder. You will be given an opportunity to pre-submit your questions that you would like answered, or simply listen in on the conversation.

Our virtual support group provides a safe and confidential space for parents and caregivers to share their experiences, receive support, and connect with others who understand what they’re going through.

This support group is a safe space to discuss concerns and learn more about how to help your child recover from having an eating disorder.
