Kelsey is a Winnipeg-based Occupational Therapist who supports children, youth, and families through a family-centred, strength-based approach. She is passionate about helping children build independence, confidence, and participation in the daily activities that matter most at home, daycare, school, and in the community.

Kelsey works with children and youth who may need support with sensory processing, emotional regulation, developmental skills, routines, school participation, adaptive equipment, assistive technology, or daily living skills. She takes time to understand each child’s strengths, challenges, environment, and family priorities so therapy feels practical, meaningful, and individualized.

Her approach is collaborative, flexible, and holistic. Kelsey works closely with families, caregivers, schools, and care teams to develop goals that support each child’s growth and participation. She uses sensory-based strategies, adaptive tools, restorative skill-building, and a stressor-informed approach to behaviour.

Kelsey graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2018 and has extensive experience in public settings across Manitoba, supporting children from birth through young adulthood. Her background includes early intervention, school-based therapy, collaboration with diagnostic teams, specialized equipment, and assistive technology.

Kelsey works with children and young ones experiencing pediatric feeding difficulties and ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), supporting them with sensory sensitivities, food avoidance, mealtime stress, limited food variety, and gradual steps toward building comfort, confidence, and participation in eating.

Kelsey can support children and families with:

  • Sensory processing and regulation strategies
  • Daily routines and life skills
  • School, daycare, and community participation
  • Fine motor and developmental skill-building
