Easy Turkey Meatballs

Description

Try these healthy & delicious baked turkey meatballs! They will be a hit with your family and a great addition to your weekly meal plan rotation! Packed with lean protein, this recipe can be repurposed into many different meals!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups lean ground turkey 
  • 2 Tbsp dried onion
  • 1 Tbsp dried garlic
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Italiano seasoning blend, or basil or oregano
  • 1/4 Tsp salt
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl; ground turkey, dried onion, garlic, herb seasoning, breadcrumbs, eggs, oil, salt, pepper and cheese.  Mix with your hands until ingredients are all blended together. 
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  4. Using a 1 Tbsp spoon to scoop out the meat mixture and roll into a ball. Make sure that all the meatballs are the same size. Place onto the baking sheet. 
  5. Bake in the oven for 15 mins, and make sure that the meatballs are cooked all through, and are not pink inside when cut in half. 
  6. Once they are cooked you can enjoy them right away, or let the meatballs cool and store them in a resealable plastic freezer bag, in the freezer for up to 2 months.
