One Bowl Banana Bread


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 3 bananas mashed very well, Or just mash them up in your mixer
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Mix egg, sugar and oil with electric mixer until well mixed
  3. Add vanilla and bananas to mixer. Beat until smooth.
  4. Next add milk & lemon juice and beat until well combined. You can mash the bananas ahead of time, or just mush them up in your mixer to save a step!
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix well.
  6. Bake 50-75 minutes, checking regularly until a knife comes out clean.
